Soon, you’ll be able to connect Beagle CRM to supported AI tools and ask questions about your live customer, sales, project and invoice data in everyday language. The beta will be available to every Beagle CRM customer at no extra Beagle cost.

What needs attention today?

Which quotations are waiting for a follow-up?

Which projects are at risk?

Soon, What needs attention today?

Which quotations are waiting for a follow-up?

Which projects are at risk?

Soon, Beagle CRM customers will be able to ask questions like these from a supported AI tool and receive answers grounded in their live business data.

We are preparing a read-only beta of Beagle CRM’s Model Context Protocol connection—MCP for short. It will be available to every Beagle customer, with no premium tier and no additional Beagle add-on.

Your CRM already holds a great deal of useful information about your business. The challenge is not always collecting it. It is getting to the right answer quickly enough to act on it.

With Beagle MCP, you will be able to ask practical questions in everyday language, rather than building reports, applying several filters, or moving between screens.

For example:

  • “What needs attention across the business today?”

  • “Which leads have an overdue next step?”

  • “Which quotations are waiting for a follow-up?”

  • “Which sales orders are ready to invoice?”

  • “Which projects are at risk?”

  • “Which invoices are overdue, and who owns the customer relationship?”

Your chosen AI tool will use Beagle’s secure, read-only connection to identify the relevant records and help explain what needs your attention.

What is MCP?

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol.

Put simply, it is a common way for an AI tool to connect securely to another product—with your permission—and use the specific information and tools that product makes available.

For Beagle CRM, this means building one carefully controlled connection rather than a separate integration for every AI product. It gives us a sensible foundation for supporting the AI tools our customers already choose to use.

At the start of the beta, we plan to support Claude and Cursor. We are also validating ChatGPT’s private MCP app route before confirming it as a supported beta client.

You will continue to use your chosen AI tool through your own account. Beagle provides the secure connection to the CRM information you are already permitted to see.

Read-only by design

The first version of Beagle MCP will be read-only.

That is deliberate. The beta is designed to help you find, understand and prioritise information in Beagle—not to make changes to records. You remain in control of your CRM, while gaining a quicker route to the answers that matter.

A more joined-up view of the business

Beagle CRM is not just a sales CRM.

For many small and growing UK businesses, customer work continues long after a deal is won. Leads become customers. Quotations become sales orders. Projects are delivered. Invoices are raised and chased. Tasks, notes, contacts and relationships sit throughout that journey.

Beagle already brings those parts together in one connected system.

That means MCP can go beyond isolated sales questions. It creates the potential to ask one question across sales, delivery and payment—for example, which important customers have overdue invoices, open project issues and no recent follow-up.

For a busy team, that joined-up view can be more useful than another dashboard or a generic AI summary. It helps you see what needs attention, understand why, and decide what to do next.

Coming soon

We are preparing the private beta now and will share more details with Beagle customers shortly.

The aim is simple: less time searching through screens, and more time acting on the information already in your CRM.customers will be able to ask questions like these from a supported AI tool and receive answers grounded in their live business data.
